Sacred Sensuality, Patreon Changes, and Ikigai

It is beautiful here in Denver, around 50 degrees, crisp and clear. This amuses me though because less than a week ago there was a blizzard that shut down the city, and this coming week snow is expected once more. This area is beautiful but fickle – towering peaks and rich greenery buffered by the heat of the sun that reflects so much more a mile up.

I have felt the same way about life recently. The shadow of anti-trans hate speech in a double-burst yesterday, balanced out by the beauty of friends holding space for me and a wonderful massage therapist helping me work it out through my body. The gratitude for being asked to be part of some amazing projects, balanced with the shadow of wondering at my long-term capacity and sustainability.

As part of that, this week I restructured my Patreon levels with that in mind. I’m adding weekend/evening classes once a month for my patrons while removing behind-the-scenes content I couldn’t maintain. I’m building a team too for doing this work, because this Wednesday’s class on Solo D/s reminded me of the power of Ikigai – the intersection of our what we love, what the world needs, what we our good at, and what we can be paid for. I am blessed that this work is my Ikigai. It is the intersection of my vocation, profession, mission, and passion. And I want to do it for the long haul. Weekly Wednesdays have been wonderful, and I wanted to let folks know that the request to share the Food Play & Food Fetish chat log (minus names), as approved by the attendees of that discussion, is now available for download. However, my statement at Solo D/s about this coming Wednesday being about mythologies about trans and nonbinary folks is *actually* the 31st – this Wednesday we will be discussing how to keep our senses alive when so many of us have turned ours off. This is a lead-up to next weekend when Meredith Muse, and I will be leading our Embodied~Erotic 2-day sacred sensuality intensive. If you are interested in joining us (details below) we still have a few tickets left.
