Following RSS feeds on Android and iPhone
So I've had multiple folks ask how they can follow my RSS feed on Androids and iPhones. If you are more of an expert than I am, don't hesitate to let me know additional information, so I can help folks out more efficiently. Here are some ideas. On Androids, there are a number of RSS following apps. I no longer have an Android to test out platforms with, but here are some options:http://alternativeto.net/software/feeddemon/?platform=androidHaving acquired an RSS feed app, follow the URL adding information below (with different buttons based on your app).On the iPhone, you have two major choices. The first is to subscribe to my channel on iTunes and sync your iPhone to have the podcast upload to your phone each time.https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/passion-soul-podcast-by-lee/id840372122or do a search on the iTunes store for "Lee Harrington"The other option is to install an RSS feeder/reader on your phone. Go to the iTunes store, and download a free app. I use RssRunner.Once you have an RSS feed system downloaded, you will be subscribing to my podcast using the following URL:http://passionandsoul.libsyn.com/rssOn RssRunner, that means clicking the "More" button on the top right corner, choosing "Add feeds", and then tying in that above URL. Having done so, under your "Custom" tab on the front page, the podcast will appear as an option there. At this moment, 43 options appear, because there are 43 podcast episodes online. Choose the one you want, and you will find a link on that page that says "You'll find this episode and all links at ______". Click the button, and find and scroll down again... the play option is there.Working on this today, I will be talking with my tech guy to see if we can streamline the RSS feed so that fewer click-throughs or long scrolling can be required. To add the RSS feed for my blog, do so here:http://feeds.feedburner.com/passionandsoulor if you prefer the LiveJournal format of my blog (perhaps if you are an LJ user):http://passionandsoul.livejournal.com/data/rssI hope this helps!-Lee
