Hello beautiful beings! My name is Lee Harrington, and I have been gifted the opportunity since 2002 to be a sexuality and spirituality author, educator, and instigator of all sorts of beauty and mayhem. In 2006 I made an intense pair of decisions – to transition genders, and to leave the corporate world to pursue my passions full time. To continue this work, I am launching a Patreon to allow people to get an insight into my world, and support me on the journey forward.For those who have followed my work, you know that since then I have released 7 books (including Traversing Gender: Understanding Transgender Realities, Shibari You Can Use: Japanese Rope Bondage and Erotic Macramé, and Sacred Kink: The Eightfold Paths of BDSM and Beyond) and have edited 3 anthologies (including Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries, co-edited by Tai Fenix Kulystin). I’ve taught for universities, conferences, and groups in 6 countries and in all 50 states. I’ve written and done artwork for the projects of others, and even started publishing the work of others. It’s been an amazing ride.I have been called to a new endeavor – to open the Temple Project. A sacred space that I will be working out of and opening up for others to do work of all sorts in as well, I will be writing at an altar dedicated to Thoth/Djehuti (the Egyptian god of knowledge) and Seshat (the Egyptian goddess of writing). An ancestral altar is being built for the elders of our tribes, our lineages both of blood and of love, that others can send their images and requests for me to keep their memories alive. I will be cooking while watched over by Hestia (the Roman goddess of the hearth), Bes (the Egyptian god/protector of households), and Ashnan and Lahar (the Sumerian deities of grain and cattle alike). There are altars set to Joshua who is also called Jesus, Dionysus, and Mother Bear. I will be dreaming under the watch of Melek Ta’us (the Yezidi and Feri Lord of the Painted Fan) and Nuit, the Star Goddess, God Herself... but I have a feeling other altars will be birthed as well based on the needs of some of you.Though entering this quest, I am not giving up my other work. I will be finishing half-written books that have been calling from their digital homes. My tarot deck will continue moving towards birth, with this sacred space providing a purpose to push it forward as I do divination for others. I will be able to continue doing activism work in the LGBTQ+ community in Alaska, and craft artwork of all sorts. I’ll be bringing the Passion And Soul Podcast back to life, and editing the work of others both as an editor and as a sacred offering that I owe in one case.This Patreon will allow these to not only happen, but will give a chance for me to share the work I am doing with all of you. Each day I will take a proposal for a musician to use as inspiration from a list compiled from patrons, and each day I will do prayer work inspired by the needs of some of you. I will be writing blogs on a variety of non-spiritual topics as well, called out in some cases by you.
