November Newsletter (TX and Beyond)

Hello beautiful beings,

I write to you from a crisp and beautiful day in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I was honored to be brought out for officiating the Norse-style handfasting of two wonderful individuals. There were oaths, tokens exchanged, mead, handfasting cords, and a beautiful view as close family and friends bore witness. When I officiate commitment ceremonies, it is a multi-month process of working with me about relationship visioning, planning for the years going forward, and planning the whys and whats of the ceremony as well. It delights me to see such things manifest.

"Coffee Shop on Cherry Street" had this beautiful piece of the goddess Caffiena on the wall.

This coming month is on the quiet side concerning going out to teach, but it is busy on other fronts. Lots of personal travel and life journeys, audio book recording (see below for audio projects that have come out), attending events to be in service to my partner, and in general staying occupied though. At the end of the month (on Thanksgiving this year) is also my 40th birthday, which I am really looking forward to. Someone asked about my Amazon wishlist, so here you go. I’m excited about 40 because it feels like a more real age to me. It always confused me that I was a teen, then “only” in my 20s. 30s felt more “real,” but 40s seems like it will be the decade that my brain, life journeys, and age finally get to fall into alignment with one another.

For my birthday, I’ll be going to Salzburg for Krampusnacht with two friends, to take in the largest Krampus festival in the world. It feels almost random, because a year ago the only festival I could imagine pining to go to was the Kumbh Mela. But sometimes my life falls into different directions, and this will be a fun and crazy adventure. I’ll be documenting as I go, don’t you worry - expect lots of pictures and video footage.

This month also has me looking to move to Austin, Texas. I love Denver and my people there, but I have been bi-locational most of the year, when not traveling for work/family, between Denver and Austin, and I want to streamline. I’ll be having a going away social time in December, but don’t worry, Ill be back a time or two in 2020. If you are an Austin-ite, let me know so I can start expanding my network of amazing beings before I land there.

What are some of the unexpected twists and turns you have run into this year? Exciting moments coming up that you didn’t see coming?

Yours in Passion and Soul,

Lee Harrington
