Body Magick, Age Play, Online Teaching Skills, and The Power of Time

I am so enlivened right now by this past weekend. Myself and 20 others took the plunge and dove into topics from relationship rituals to not feeling “enough” of whatever it is, the intimacy of vulnerability to the passions and turn-ons surrounding power exchange and authority transfer… just – wow. I am blown away by what this group together, and am glad that there is a spin-off discussion planned for the folks from the first Delving Into Power – so juicy.

Thinking of intensives, I am *so* excited to let the world know about a 2-day intensive August 29th-30th called “Embodied~Erotic: A Magickal Intensive.” Intended to be part of the Vermont Witch Camp this year, Meredith Muse and I have been working hard to bring this experience online:

If all acts of love and pleasure are her rituals, what magick and power can be tapped into by exploring our body, sensuality, and sexuality? In this two-day online intensive we will explore how we can uncover the power present in our senses and erotic alike, while acknowledging our collective traumas concerning our sexualities in the over-culture. Through deep sharing, playful exercises, and journaling/art work we will play with where our bodies have been before diving into evoking our emotions and engaging in ritual self-touch work (remembering that touch comes in so many forms). Come ready to share your hearts and open up to the whispers and delight of sex magickand embodied body wisdom.

After first announcing it to folks at Vermont Witch Camp and then my Patreon supporters, I am happy to now announce to the world at large that we have a handful of tickets left for those who feel called to explore with us.

Thinking of body wisdom, I recently had a friend pass on to me a fantastic youtube video/recording of a class from the folks at Mystic Soul Project about the concept of Rhythm Over Time. Led by Teresa Mateus, Jade T. Perry, and then a panel discussion of folks discussing their experiences concerning time, I cannot recommend it enough. This free video dives into the scam of urgency, the toxic roots of being “on time” being a marker of morality, disruption of linear time models, models as seen by Jade as a Black queer diviner, trauma and healing processing, “pandemic time,” and more. It has led to so many rich conversations for me in the past two weeks, and I hope it will for you as well.     When most people outside of the BDSM community talk about Age Play, images like adults in diapers or school uniforms can come to mind. But Age Play for consenting adults can be that and SO much more! We will explore personal, cultural, and universal archetypes of parenthood, childhood, and all kinds of child/adult dynamics to find a voice for our own diverse desires. From naughty teenagerz (who says kidz are bottoms?) to feral packs of boy scoutz, innocent babiez to folks in their 60s pretending they are sneaking into a bar... there are lots of ways to play. Let's look at pre-verbal, toddler, school kid, teen, and a wide variety of adult roles that we can enjoy for roleplaying or lifestyle identities. Daddies, Mommies, other familial roles will be explored, as well as how to incorporate age play into your other kinks, while we also touch on the land mines of our pasts and help kidz and adultz who have been emotionally hurt by past kink relationships.
