Early Poetry

I just recycled about 25+ pounds worth of stuff I wrote, made or whatever between age 2 and 13. I've kept a stack, maybe about 1/2 of a storage box worth. The boxes I went through also had my baby book, wacky stuff.Anyway, found a few poems I wanted to share.((written grade 3))On Halloween NightA witch swept a cloudInto Mr. Moon's eyeBlink went the moonBlack went the skyThen down on a postA pumpkin head brightShining brightlyon Halloween night.((written grade 3 or 4 based on handwriting style))Loud, hissing thunderThen the rain came beating downA rainbow rejoyce((same period))Down in the rain cloudA mournful storm is groaningWith beutiful lightsSo yeah, ok, so my spelling wasn't perfect, still isn't :)I wasn't a bad little baby poet.Hell, I think that stuff is a lot better than some of the goth shit I wrote in high school.I'm actually really inspired by some of the paintings I did when I was under the age of 6, I want to pull on some of their wild impressionism (before my formal art classes really went into figurative gear) for the piece I'm working on.
