I had folks ask me what my speech for Arizona LeatherSIR 2010 was about. Working from my notes, I have re-created it as best I could from memory. Enjoy :)My bio:Lee Harrington is a sexuality and spirituality author, educator, artist and shaman. He has been a part of the public kink communities for over 14 years, and is proud to be in possession of the powerful humans in service to him. This is his first title holder contest.My speech:A while back my Boy asked me about what being a Leather Sir meant to me. I thought about it, and said to him that you know what its like, right? When you want, no need, to possess another. To have a boy at your boots, wrapped in your ropes, trusting you with life decisions and erotic power?He laughed and said yes, because he is a Sir in his own right. What can I say, I like powerful things. I went on to speak of that need to need, to take, to fuck, feel, and fill. To keep your head while in the throws of bliss, to control, to protect, and to cherish. To destroy and to build. To know when its appropriate to guide, and when to take. To train and discipline, and yet feed my own base desires.These are what it means to me to be a Sir.He laughed, and said yes Sir, you are a Sir.I look around me tonight and see a lot of powerful Sirs, commanding Masters, dominant Leathermen, passionate perverts. I see strong submissives, amazing slaves, heartfelt hedonists. And in seeing all of this I am deeply inspired. I am in awe. Because when I was exploring on my own, with my first Master so long ago, I felt alone. I felt like it was us and our leather family against the world.But in looking around tonight I see so many amazing individuals following their own path of Erotic Authenticity within Leather. My own has called me at this time to walk down the path as a Sir. But each of you, following your own paths, remind me that I am not alone. I am here tonight filled with hope knowing that so many of us are embracing our true identities, sexuality, hedonism... ourselves. We each deserve greatness, and tonight I am inspired surrounded by that greatness.
