They dive into race and appropriation in paganism and kink communities alike, sharing the idea that “race play” means something totally different as a Latina woman thinking of the Aztecs. From types of ways that people work to be “seen” in the world to the censure that we do to ourselves every day of our lives, Xochiquetzal and Lee examine how respect comes into play as explorers finding their ways in the world. While doing so, they acknowledge our energetic fatigue and ask each person to breathe deep and find a life beyond the shame gifted to us by our overculture.
***Xochiquetzal is a High Priest/ess within the Treebridge Tradition, through Lyceum of the Wayfarer. They are an initiated Shaktist, an Umbandista, a Polytheist, and Catholic. They rarely have issues with navigating these strangely mixed worlds. Within their work mingling sex, spirit, kink, and magic they have found freedom and joy. They are also called to Service by teaching this freedom and joy to any who come to them as seekers.
