Welcome to 2024, and a return to my newsletters. Have you missed me? I am tickled that my new assistant Kitt is helping me so wonderfully get back into the flow of things after a beautiful but hectic 2023. What a blessing.
2023 found the release of my new book "Become your Own Beloved: A Guide to Delighting in Self Connection," the release of my audiobook for Sacred Kink (see below), a return to more regular traveling for teaching, and an ever growing collection of recorded classes on my Patreon. I launched Gumroad, my platform for downloading class handouts, slide decks, and unpublished books (and later this year, videos of classes), and had a chance to move in with my partner and our two dogs on the far east side of Denver - a town I have loved for many years and am putting down more roots in as time goes by. I've even returned to doing tarot card readings both at events and online, which has been so soul fulfilling... a good way to stretch my divination limbs as I work into my current project writing about and making art on the topic.
This year I set a word of the year. Clarity. Clarity in what I want to work on, how I want to spend my time in the world at large, and who will fuel my path forward. Clarity in how I provide support for you, and everyone who sits in front of me in a class, for readings, in coaching, and when I am asked to help organizations level up.
What is your word of the year?
Registration is now open for an array of amazing events I am being part of. At KinkFest in Portland, OR I will be exploring the dark side of passion with "Inner Monsters" and "Dark Roleplaying," with The Grand Fetish Affair having me not just stay in the dark but also play around with "Clothing Bondage" and more in Cincinnati, Ohio. They sold over 400 tickets in the first week of this debut event though, get your ticket before they sell out. In Philadelphia I will be returning for the second year to Twisted Leprechaun to engage in some delicious "Primal Play" and explore the depths of identity, fetish, and history in "What’s Leather Got to Do With It?"
Thinking of deep dives, I'm also touched that we have rescheduled my online Delving Into Power 3-Day D/s Intensive to May 10-12. It was set to happen at the end of 2023, but one of my assistants, slave moggy, died in a car crash. Everyone involved agreed it was best for all of our hearts to let some space and time heal us before moving forward, and her Master and I, in connection with my new assistant team Sasquach and Meredith, set these new dates. It is an honor to plan the new revision of this experience. Getting freaky, kinky, and exploring dominance or submission is desired by many people, and yet for those of us who live with physical, neurological, or mental disabilities we have unique realities in these explorations or play. This slide deck will allow you to explore how having disabilities can affect how we do BDSM and other kinks! This might include visible or invisible disabilities, neurological non-normativity, realities that come from aging, plus blindness and visual impairment as well – how do you modify your explorations for your (or a partners) realities. Let’s talk about our challenges, brainstorm for each other, and also discuss the fun or creativity that have come up along our journeys!

Ever had to struggle with how to put a crotch rope on a woman who has a little something extra? Wanted to tie up a trans man who wanted ties that didn’t trigger his dysphoria when he looks in the mirror? Perhaps you just want to explore some hot ways to tie up your lovers to make them feel androgynous and exposed? Then this class is for you. We’ll be playing with crotch ropes and strap-on harnesses and alternative forms of bondage to emphasize and de-emphasize curves. Let’s explore ties that can help us or our partner(s) feel seen as whatever gender or otherness as we experience ourselves to be. Bring at least two pieces of rope, 25+ feet in length (and a dildo if you have one), for hands-on fun and exploration in this class for “the rest of us.” Limited supplies will be available to borrow from the instructor.
