Love Languages and Objectification Classes… and Reflections

Hello beautiful beings!

The humidity is high in Leander, Texas, visiting Ms. Cenna for the weekend. If the current pandemic had not been happening, we were set to be at Camp Crucible. 300+ sexuality adventurers would be doing rope bondage, hiking through the woods, engaging in hook suspensions, enjoying human animal roleplaying, drinking by the pool, laughing around the campfire. There would be laughter, tears, orgies, storytelling, and delight. Instead, with the humidity, it feels like 99 degrees and we are hidden inside doing craft projects and I am reading “Queering the Tarot” by Cassandra Snow.

Yes, Camp Crucible will be happening next year, and they have rolled the teaching lineup, including Ms. Cenna and I, forward. But I miss my tribe. I will miss my Dark Odyssey tribe next month when I can’t go to Fusion. My queer heart aches for not spending time in July with my bay area crew, aches for not curling up with my various queer blobs. My body aches for not being with the queerness, with the kinksters, with my fellow trans and gender nonbinary crew. And so I admit it out loud,  honor my feelings, and fill in some of that ache with hosting classes, dressing in delightful wardrobe, quality masturbation, and phone/Zoom/skype time with my crew worldwide. It is something.

What are you doing to honor your aches?

Thinking of classes, I really enjoyed my class on Thursday with Centered Hearth on “Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries” – so much so that I’ll be hosting… something… for them next month. Topic to be determined. Here is the resources PDF I shared with attendees so you can enjoy it as well!
