Sacred Sensuality, Patreon Changes, and Ikigai

Hello beautiful being,

It is beautiful here in Denver, around 50 degrees, crisp and clear. This amuses me though because less than a week ago there was a blizzard that shut down the city, and this coming week snow is expected once more. This area is beautiful but fickle – towering peaks and rich greenery buffered by the heat of the sun that reflects so much more a mile up.

I have felt the same way about life recently. The shadow of anti-trans hate speech in a double-burst yesterday, balanced out by the beauty of friends holding space for me and a wonderful massage therapist helping me work it out through my body. The gratitude for being asked to be part of some amazing projects, balanced with the shadow of wondering at my long-term capacity and sustainability.

As part of that, this week I restructured my Patreon levels with that in mind. I’m adding weekend/evening classes once a month for my patrons while removing behind-the-scenes content I couldn’t maintain. I’m building a team too for doing this work, because this Wednesday’s class on Solo D/s reminded me of the power of Ikigai – the intersection of our what we love, what the world needs, what we our good at, and what we can be paid for. I am blessed that this work is my Ikigai. It is the intersection of my vocation, profession, mission, and passion. And I want to do it for the long haul. Check out the new Patreon tiers and see what calls to you – becoming a member by the end of the month will also have you receive a postcard in the mail from me in April!

Weekly Wednesdays have been wonderful, and I wanted to let folks know that the request to share the Food Play & Food Fetish chat log (minus names), as approved by the attendees of that discussion, is now available for download. However, my statement at Solo D/s about this coming Wednesday being about mythologies about trans and nonbinary folks is *actually* the 31st – this Wednesday we will be discussing how to keep our senses alive when so many of us have turned ours off. This is a lead-up to next weekend when Meredith Muse, and I will be leading our Embodied~Erotic 2-day sacred sensuality intensive. If you are interested in joining us (details below) we still have a few tickets left.

On top of these, I wanted to offer you all a little treat! 2 weeks ago I got to appear on the Dirty Talk Game Show, which was a total laugh! Want an hour and a half of silly fun sexy game show entertainment? It just got uploaded, and you can see me tell dirty stories, come up with fake definitions for erotic definitions (deep throating is a fetish for overthrowing government conspiracies through wiretapping and quality journalism for example), and in general having too much fun. I thought you might enjoy it.

This coming week, come join me at:

During these times, many of us have come to ignore our bodies needs, wants, and desires. We have turned off our senses and longings alike. Let us engage our senses of touch, taste, smell, sound, and sight through exploring this topic together. In this discussion we will explore ways to engage our senses, becoming present in the here and now with everything from mindfulness exercises to erotic exploration that can help us stay energetically awake in a time where so many of have shut down.
A $1-25 donation is encouraged for the Weekly Wednesday series, but none is required to attend.

If all acts of love and pleasure are her rituals, what magick and power can be tapped into by exploring our body, sensuality, and sexuality?
In this two-day online intensive we will explore how we can uncover the power present in our senses and erotic alike, while acknowledging our collective traumas concerning our sexualities in the over-culture. Through deep sharing, playful exercises, and journaling/art work we will play with where our bodies have been before diving into evoking our emotions and engaging in ritual self-touch work (remembering that touch comes in so many forms). Come ready to share your hearts and open up to the whispers and delight of sex magick and embodied body wisdom.

I also have other classes and events coming up in the next few weeks!

To check out other classes and intensives, visit my Upcoming Appearances page to learn more. From there you can sign up for my free newsletter as well. To enjoy further free material from me, consider joining  me over on Patreon 🙂

Much love to you all and see you soon!
